RockPrest is to return for its fourth year with a line up of famous tribute acts this summer.

The two-day festival will pay homage to the music of many bands and artists, featuring over 40 music acts.

The headliners include Slipknowt, the Fu Fighters and the Reet Hot Chilli Peppers amongst others.

It will be staged in Moor Park from June 30 to July 1 and include stalls and events for the family as well as music.

Jules Taylor, Head Organiser, said he was keen to retain the sense of intimacy of the festival despite its rapid growth.

“We had people telling us we needed to make it bigger but we didn’t want to spoil the actual essence of it,” he said.

“We wondered what it would be like to put it in a field or a nice park. We took the risk to do that, which was really stressful, but each year it has grown from strength to strength,” he added.

Originating as a small event in Prestwich, Manchester, the festival has grown significantly in recent years.
