As Christmas is coming closer it’s time for pantomimes to appear. If you’re looking to go and see a show this festive season then we have a guide for you.
Blackburn Empire Theatre is putting on a show at the Blackburn Empire Theatre from November 30 – January 2nd.
Peter Pan is a story about a boy who never grows up. He appears alongside is friends The Lost Boys, Tinkerbell and Wendy. His nemesis Captain Hook is the villain of the story.
If you want to see Beauty and the Beast at the Oswaldtwistle Civic Theatre then you can go from November 30 – December 8.
A young prince is turned into a horrid beast after a wicked enchantress curses him. He is bound to be a beast until he finds love. A young girl, Belle, ends up meeting the beast trying to rescue her father from his prison. Does the Beast manage to find love?

The Lowther Pavilion Theatre will be playing Snow White in Lytham from December 7 – December 30.
The Wicked Queen is jealous of Snow White’s beauty. She orders the murder of her step-daughter but finds out she was not killed. She’s been living with seven dwarfs. The Wicked Queen finds Snow White and poisons her, she won’t wake up without a kiss from a prince.
From December 7 – December 22 you can see Jack and the Beanstalk at The Playhouse Theatre in Preston.
Jack comes from a poor family. He trades his family cow for some magic beans. In anger, his mum throws the beans and in the morning a giant beanstalk has grown. Jack climbs up the beanstalk where he finds gold. Jack runs into trouble when a giant appears, trying to stop Jack taking his gold.
King George’s Hall is showing Sleeping Beaut in Blackburn December 9 – December 31.
Maleficent curses Princess Aurora to kill her but instead she falls into a deep sleep, only to be woken by a kiss from a prince.
Darwen Library Theatre are showing Jack and the Beanstalk from December 9 – December 24.
