Preston’s Flag Market to host New Zealand attack vigil

Preston’s Faith Forum, an organisation made up of individuals from places of worship across the city, has arranged a memorial in response to the New Zealand terror attack.

Preston Flag Market will be the centre of the vigil.

More than 50 people died when a gunman opened fired inside a mosque in Christchurch.

The Faith Forum said: “It is important to come together and declare that we will not be intimidated or divided.”

The event begins at Preston Flag Market at 6pm and is set to finish around 9.
