Family reunited with photo found in Thornton-Cleveleys

Photo found by Carl Greenhalgh

A heart-warming photo has been reunited with its family after being dropped in Thornton-Cleveleys.

Carl Greenhalgh, who found the photo, posted in the Thornton-Cleveleys Chat Facebook group appealing to find the owner.

Carl, who spotted the photo outside of The Glass House in Cleveleys, said: “As the picture was only small, I assumed that it had fallen out of a purse luckily a lady came to pick it up and was very grateful.”

The photo was a picture of a couple of which the lady had died just four weeks ago.

Julie Andrews, who is related to the people in the photo, picked up the photo from Carl after being contacted on Facebook by him.

Julie thanked Carl again on the Facebook post.

Gill Dunnings on Facebook said: “So happy you got it back, memories to treasure.”

Debrina Street commented on the Facebook post: “How lovely to get in back, there are still some lovely people out there, must mean the world.”
