Liverpool prodigy Harvey Elliott has been banned for 14 days after he posted a video on snapchat mocking England captain Harry Kane.
The video shows Elliott using derogatory language to mock Kane, while watching the Champions League final between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
Elliott admitted to breaching FA rules on social media use and has previously called his actions “senseless” in an apology he posted to instagram.
The 16-year-old said: “The video was taken whilst messing around with friends in a private environment and was not directed at any individual but I realise that my actions were both immature and senseless.”
He has been banned from playing football until October 25, and has also been ordered to pay a £350 fine, and complete a face-to-face FA education course.
