Blackburn Rovers ended the international break on a low, suffering a 4-2 defeat in the capital against Queens Park Rangers.

This Saturday they’re looking to bounce back, but a tough test awaits.

Huddersfield are on the resurgence under the Cowley brothers, who back in September took under their a wing a side that had lost every game and drawn one.

Rovers, back on their own patch tomorrow, will want nothing more than to get the winning feeling back in camp.

Their last three points came almost a month ago, a 2-1 win at Reading – since then, they’ve lost to Luton and QPR and were held to a 1-1 draw by Nottingham Forest.

Injuries have hit Tony Mowbray’s squad hard, with Greg Cunningham expected to be out for the entire season (cruciate ligament) and Darragh Lenihan too sidelined (knee).

Tosin Adarabioyo and Amari’i Bell should start in defence, whilst Lewis Travis is back in contention.

Time will tell whether Mowbray opts for the usual 4-2-3-1 formation or five at the back, as used against Millwall.

And it’ll be interesting to see who gets the nod up front – Danny Graham has scored in Rovers’ last two meetings with Huddersfield, both 1-1 draws in the 2016/17 season.

Sam Gallagher has yet to score in the league and has been moved around the side, with him yet to make the desired impact.

Adam Armstrong has scored three goals in his last four games and Lewis Holtby has yet to start despite impressing off the bench.

There’s certainly a lot for Mowbray to deliberate before 2pm tomorrow when the teams are announced.

The opposition will arrive in East Lancashire with confidence at a high after back-to-back wins and clean sheets against Stoke and Hull.

Juninho Bacuna found the net in both of those wins and Cowley’s men are welcoming back that feel-good atmosphere that played such a crucial part in their promotion to the Premier League in 2017.

Predicted Rovers line-up: Christian Walton, Elliott Bennett, Tosin Adarabioyo, Derrick Williams, Amari’i Bell, Lewis Travis, Stewart Downing, Lewis Holtby, Bradley Dack, Adam Armstrong, Danny Graham 4-2-3-1

Alex Pritchard has return to fitness and the Examiner Live predicts he will return to the team.

Predicted Huddersfield line-up: – Kamil Grabara; Danny Simpson, Christopher Schindler, Tommy Elphick, Jaden Brown; Jonathan Hogg, Juninho Bacuna; Adama Diakhaby, Alex Pritchard, Lewis O’Brien; Karlan Grant. 4-2-3-1
