Premier League 

Ruben Dias (Benfica to Manchester City) 

The Portuguese centre back joins the Citizens on a six-year deal for a fee believed to be up to £65 million. The transfer also sees Nicolas Otamendi move in the other direction to the Portuguese side for a fee around £13 million.  

Dale Stephens (Brighton to Burnley) 

The 31-year-old midfielder made the move to Turf Moor, after signing on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee. The former Brighton man ends a six-year stint at the club. 


Emil Riis Jakobsen (Randers FC to Preston North End) 

The Lilywhites have signed the 22-year old on a four-year contract. The young Danish striker scored five goals and assisted five in 25 games last season.  

League One 

Rhys Fenlon (Burnley to Accrington Stanley) 

John Coleman has added more youth to his side after signing former Burnley midfielder Rhys Fenlon. The 18-year-old has signed a two-year-deal at the WHAM Stadium. 

Jon Russell (Chelsea to Accrington Stanley) 

Stanley have also signed Jon Rusell on a season-long loan from Chelsea. The midfielder is the second player from Chelsea to make a loan switch to Accrington this season.  

Jordan Gabriel (Nottingham Forest to Blackpool) 

Neil Critchley adds more youth to his ranks as he signs highly rated right back Jordan Gabriel on a season-long loan. The 22-year-old had spent last season on loan at Scunthorpe United. 

Barrie McKay (Swansea City to Fleetwood Town) 

McKay returns to Highbury for his second loan deal at the club until the end of the season. The Scottish winger had an enjoyable first spell with the Cod Army last season after making the play-offs. 

Jake Beesley (Solihull Moors to Rochdale) 

The 23-year-old signs for the Dale on a three-year-deal for an undisclosed fee. The striker steps up two divisions after joining from the National League.

Darnell Johnson (Leicester City to Wigan Athletic) 

The defender has signed a short-term loan deal with John Sheridan’s side until the 4th January. The 22-year-old can play at both right back and centre back. 

League Two 

Arthur Gnahoua (Macclesfield Town to Bolton Wanderers) 

The 28-year-old striker signs for Wanderers on a free transfer, after making 29 appearances for Macclesfield last season. He signs on a one-year-deal. 

Lloyd Isgrove (Swindon Town to Bolton Wanderers) 

Isgrove is another signing under the Ian Evatt regime as he looks to rebuild his side, the Welsh winger also signs a one year deal after achieving promotion with Swindon last year. 

Alfie McCalmont (Leeds United to Oldham Athletic) 

Manager Harry Kewell has bolstered his squad with the signing of Northern Ireland international Alfie McCalmont. The 20-year-old midfielder signs on a season-long-loan.
