Accountancy firm PM+M are collecting presents to give to charities and children’s services in Blackburn, Bury and Burnley.
The donations, which will be their 12th year of the appeal, are given to local children who are unlikely to receive any gifts and will help to ‘transform their Christmas’.
The organisation has also put together an Amazon wish list, so that people can order items to be delivered straight to their offices.
Terri Green, Marketing and Business Development Manager at PM+M, said: “Just one family in need is too many, this year in particular, we know that the cost-of-living crisis will have a huge impact on a number of people.
“The kind-hearted donations that we receive from our team, our clients, contacts, and friends of PM+M, will really help and hopefully add a little joy and happiness to many at this time of year”.
The organisation provides the following guidance for the gifts:
- They should be new, unopened and around the value of £10
- Can be for children/teenagers of any age or gender
- Can be wrapped or unwrapped, with guidance on gender and age range if wrapped
- Shouldn’t contain confectionary or alcohol
Green added: “We are always proud of what we achieve each year by making a small difference to those who need it most and we are very grateful to everyone who continues to help us with this appeal”.
They ask that gifts are donated by Monday, 12th December, and can be dropped off at either of their offices.
