Manchester United look to go top of the WSL ahead of international break.

Ona Battle says her Manchester United side must ‘take their chances’ against a ‘really good’ Tottenham Hotspur team on Saturday, writes TAKU ZVOBGO.

United face Tottenham in the Women’s Super League where a win could see the Red Devils go top of the table heading into the international break.

They travel to North London to face a Spurs for the first time this season, where Battle will be hoping her side can continue their unbeaten run against the capital side.

United, who are unbeaten in the league since their defeat to league leaders Chelsea in November, dropped points in their last outing in a goalless draw against Everton.

Elsewhere in the WSL, Matt Beard’s has said he has a ‘selection headache’ ahead of Liverpool’s fixture against with Leicester City.

The Reds come into the match off the back of a 2-0 win over Reading as they look to close the gap to West Ham in seventh place, despite having two games in hand on the Hammers.

Beard made it clear on his column ahead of the match that the selection headache is a problem with Natasha Dowie ready to make her second debut on Sunday.

The 34-year-old striker, who scored 45 goals in her 66 appearances for the Reds, will be looking to make an immediate impact after arriving on a second loan spell from Reading.
